When Bud Light repositioned themselves as "The perfect beer for whatever happens", we needed to follow up their "Epic Night" Super Bowl spot with something even more epic.
So we created Whatever, USA - a real town you could win the chance to visit. It was the ultimate party town where Bud Light flowed, Vanilla Ice served vanilla ice cream, and that Prancercize lady held group Prancercize classes.
2014 really was a simpler time.
Every fictional town has its archetypal mayor, so we created the Mayor of Whatever, USA and set him loose across our substantial media plan.
This was the launch spot.
And this was the radio spot to recuit people to party at Whatever, USA.
